TSP (Triple Super Phosphate)

NPK compound fertilizers contain all three primary macronutrients — nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium — in a single granule. Common formulations include 15-15-15, 16-16-16, and 20-20-20 for balanced nutrition. Compound NPK offers more uniform nutrient distribution than physical blends.

Ammonium nitrate (AN, 34% N) is a high-nitrogen fertilizer used for top-dressing cereals and pastures. It provides both ammonium and nitrate nitrogen for rapid crop uptake. Due to its oxidizing properties, AN is subject to strict storage and transportation regulations in most jurisdictions.

Ammonium sulphate (AS, 21-0-0-24S) provides both nitrogen and sulfur, making it ideal for sulfur-deficient soils. It is produced as a byproduct of caprolactam/nylon manufacturing or synthesized from ammonia and sulphuric acid. Its acidifying effect benefits alkaline soils.

Single Super Phosphate (SSP, 0-16-0 + 11% S + 20% Ca) is a cost-effective phosphate fertilizer that also provides sulfur and calcium. It is produced by reacting phosphate rock with sulphuric acid. SSP remains popular in developing countries where farmers need multi-nutrient input at lower cost.

Phosphate rock is the raw material for all phosphorus-based fertilizers and phosphoric acid production. Morocco's OCP Group controls approximately 70% of global reserves. Phosphate rock is graded by BPL (Bone Phosphate of Lime, or P2O5 content), with 68-72% BPL being the standard export grade.
